MEET YOUR COACH JULES SEXTON

Hi, I’m Jules Sexton, founder of Next Chapter Business Coaching.

I know what it’s like to lead from the inside, not just advise from the outside. Over the past two decades, I’ve had lived experience scaling teams across multiple sites in both Ireland and Australia. I’ve built, managed, and grown teams that delivered complex services under pressure, all while navigating the challenges of recruitment, culture, compliance, and sustainable growth.

To strengthen that real-world experience, I also completed an MBA specialising in Leading People and Management. That formal training means I can back up practical coaching with evidence-based leadership frameworks that work in today’s business climate.

But here’s the thing: I’m not just a senior speech pathologist, business coach and strategist. I’m also married and a mum of four children. I know the juggle, the responsibility, and the constant balancing act of leading a business while leading a life. My coaching is grounded in reality, not theory, because I understand the pressures on your shoulders both professionally and personally.

MY STORY

When I first started leading teams, I often felt the weight of responsibility without the tools or clarity I needed. Scaling across multiple sites in Ireland and then in Australia showed me the best and the hardest parts of leadership: inspiring people, building culture, and carrying the ultimate accountability when things went wrong.

I saw too many business owners and leaders burn out because they were brilliant at their craft but had never been taught how to lead. I knew I could make a difference by sharing what I’d learned the hard way and by creating tools and systems that made leadership simpler, clearer, and more effective.

That’s why I created Next Chapter Business Coaching: to help business owners and allied health leaders step into leadership with clarity and confidence, so they can grow their businesses without losing themselves along the way.
